Terms of Service & Copyright

Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-07

1. Using ProducerX

ProducerX is a marketplace and community for music creators. You must be at least 16 to have an account. Keep your account details accurate, protect your login, and do not impersonate others, mislead buyers or use the platform unlawfully.

These terms apply to your use of ProducerX. Before each product upload, sellers must separately accept these terms and confirm their rights to the uploaded content.

2. Only upload content you have rights to

You must own the content you upload or have permission that explicitly allows you to distribute and sell it. This applies to beats, drumkits, loops, one-shots, presets, audio previews, photos, cover art and every file included in a product.

Do not upload stolen beats, leaked packs, pirated presets, copyrighted recordings or another creator’s work without permission. Buying or downloading a sample pack does not automatically give you permission to resell its files. Clear samples, collaborator permissions and any other third-party rights before listing. A free product must meet the same copyright rules as a paid one.

You are responsible for your uploads and must be able to provide evidence of ownership or permission when requested. Your confirmation does not replace the actual rights or licences required by law.

3. Listings and music licences

Describe your product honestly: what files are included, formats, compatibility, any credit requirements, sample restrictions and the rights offered to the buyer. State whether use is commercial or personal, exclusive or non-exclusive, and whether there are limits on releases, streams or redistribution. Do not promise rights you cannot grant.

A purchase or free download does not by itself transfer copyright or grant exclusive rights. Buyers may only use the content within the seller’s clearly stated licence. If licensing terms are missing or unclear, ask the seller before purchasing or using the content. Buyers may not reupload, redistribute or resell the original files unless the licence explicitly permits it.

Included files and previews are locked after creation. Sellers may edit listing information, but must not misrepresent an existing purchase or retroactively reduce rights already granted to a buyer.

4. Ownership and platform permission

Creators retain ownership of their content. By uploading, you give ProducerX permission to host, store, display and play your listing and selected previews, and deliver included files to authorised buyers or downloaders, as needed to operate the platform. This does not give ProducerX ownership of your music.

ProducerX branding, logo and original website materials may not be copied or used to impersonate ProducerX without permission. Third-party content belongs to its respective rights holders. A copyright notice or the ™ symbol is a notice of claimed rights, not a technical copying barrier or proof of a registered trademark.

5. Prices, payments and withdrawals

Prices are shown in euros. ProducerX keeps 20% of each marketplace sale and the seller receives 80%. Sellers are responsible for their applicable taxes and for having the rights and legal ability to sell their products.

Where checkout uses manual payment, submitting a request is not proof of payment. Access to paid content is granted only after payment is confirmed. Seller withdrawal requests are reviewed and transferred manually; submitting a request is not an immediate payout.

The checkout’s stated price, duration and renewal conditions apply to upgrades. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Digital-content refund and cancellation rights depend on applicable law; these terms do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

6. Reporting infringement and moderation

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact the ProducerX owner through the platform’s messaging system. Include the product link, identify your original work, explain your rights, and provide evidence and a way to contact you. Do not submit false or abusive reports.

ProducerX may review reports, request evidence, remove infringing or unlawful content, and restrict accounts for violations, including repeat infringement. A listing appearing on the marketplace is not a guarantee that it is cleared for every intended use. Disputes over licences or ownership should be raised promptly with the seller and the platform.

7. Availability, responsibility and changes

ProducerX does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every seller’s claims are accurate. Each user remains responsible for their own conduct, uploads and compliance with law. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms will be shown on this page with a new version date. New uploads require acceptance of the current version. Material changes do not retroactively alter licences already granted for purchased content.
